If you write in a blog, you’re a blogger, period.
In affiliate marketing blogs, the fine line between being a “blogger” and an “affiliate marketer” often gets blurred.
Even if you write an affiliate marketing blog, you’re a blogger, you just blog about affiliate marketing.
Before I managed to make a sustainable income from affiliate marketing, I was a freelance article writer and copywriter.
Obviously, I’m far from being a prolific writer, as you can see from the frequency (or lack thereof) of my blog posts.
Nevertheless, I like to write, to put thoughts into words.
Being able to write well is an universally useful trait, whether you are an affiliate marketer or a blogger.
Look at FinchSells.com.
One of the most epic affiliate marketing blogs out there IMO. Not just for the ultra-useful content, but for the way he succinctly crafts his thoughts into useful advice and rants (sometimes).
I read a thought-provoking post on Copyblogger some time ago.
It teaches you how to blog properly.
Useful stuff.
