Hi there!

My name is Kang, I’m an affiliate marketer from Singapore.

I started EpicSkillz.com to keep myself disciplined about my online business, and as a networking tool for me to get to know other affiliates in this awesome industry (and it’s working out pretty well so far).

On this blog, I plan to post about tips and tricks I’ve learnt, to winning at the affiliate marketing game,

Everything on this blog is painstakingly written and designed myself (no ghostwriters, no designers), so hopefully it’s not too shabby for you guys.

I’m still learning every single day about the epic skills (thus the name of the blog) I so desire to master; namely, design, writing, selling, and making money in general.

Personal

It gets lonely being in a country where you’re half a globe away from your AMs and most of your fellow hustlers, you know?

Anyhow, I’m 27 this year, an  aging dinosaur in an industry where 19-year-old college kids are the norm.

I’m a typical hacker-type of guy who’d much, much rather spend 24 hours hacking up automation and shortcuts to accomplish something in 1 hour, than just going ahead and spending 25 hours doing the damn thing.

I’m fortunate to have a hobby (basketball) that keeps me somewhat fit, otherwise my geeky interests will surely make me a big fat man.

My better half (thank god geeky me has a better half) works with me at the day job, and has been supportive of my unorthodox way of thinking and my interest in trying things that make no sense to her at all.

Business

As of today, 7th April 2011, I’m still small-time enough to be able to answer all emails personally :)

Hopefully, this will change in 2012.

Here’s a summary of what I’m good (by my definition) and semi-proficient at:

  1. Pay Per View/ Cost Per View traffic
  2. Facebook advertising
  3. Plenty of Fish advertising
  4. CPVLab / Prosper 202
  5. WordPress
  6. Basic (and I mean REALLY basic) Design

Goals

As of today, I’m making $ XXX most days, which is pretty nice as a part-time income, but I’m still way off from my longer-term goals.

  1. Become a prolific writer – write daily
  2. $ X,XXX per day by end of 2011 – from affiliate income
  3. Get EpicSkillz.com onto Affbuzz.com – gotta twist some arms..
  4. Attend Affiliate Summit West 2012 – > 24 hours flight woohoo!
